New York Moving to Pardon Legal Immigrants

If you are a legal immigrant and facing potential deportation because of a previous conviction for a crime, we can help prepare a pardon application for you which may save your right to stay in the United States

NY Governor David Patterson announced that he is forming a "Pardon Panel" to look at the cases of LEGAL immigrants who may face deportation because of convictions that they received earlier. The issues the Panel will look at include Effective Assistance of Counsel, a Good Post Arrest Record, Good Works that the Alien has preformed after arrest and since being off of Probation or Parole, Payment of any Owed Restitution, Gainful Employment and the like.

As Governor Patterson has decided not to seek re-election, the window for these pardons is very narrow. People must begin to get their applications in order now. Do not get locked out. Contact us and let our team of Criminal Defense, Immigration and Sentencing lawyers get to work on getting you a fair chance at being pardoned and staying in your home worry free.
